Abstract
The Alcatel Open Services Platform (OSP) is offering high performance service selection and control with efficient service creation to its customers. The personal service customization and management provided by Alcatel is providing users to manage their Personal Information Manager (PIM) data and personal profiles. The access to user's data is controlled by a central privacy profile register which determines which applications are allowed/denied access and filters the attributes of user profile. The Alcatel intelligent network platform has evolved from supporting traditional telephony to an open flexible multi-access application server capable of hosting Internet applications and network communication applications.
